WP Search with Algolia Pro is a premium WordPress plugin that brings AI-powered search to WordPress without a development project attached. Fast, relevant results your visitors can actually use, with full WooCommerce product indexing, network-wide multisite search, and the ability to make any custom field on your site searchable

Built and supported by the WordPress agency WebDevStudios, a name you can trust in the WordPress community.

Advanced Algolia AI Support

Algolia’s most powerful features run on interaction data. WP Search with Algolia Pro sends it automatically, which turns on the parts of Algolia most WordPress sites never reach:

Semantic search that understands intent, not just keywords
AI re-ranking that promotes what people actually click and buy
Shopping guides generated from your catalog
Dynamic personalization and product recommendations tuned per visitor

WooCommerce event tracking records the purchase actions that matter and reports them to Algolia in real time:

    Add to cart
    Remove from cart
    Begin checkout
Completed orders, sent as conversion events

Conversion tracking is the one that changes the conversation. It connects a purchase back to the search that produced it, so you can see revenue attributed to specific queries instead of guessing from click-through rates. Feed Algolia that data and your results get better on their own over time. Send nothing and your search performs the same on day 400 as it did on day one.
WordPress Multisite Network Indexing

WP Search with Algolia Pro creates a unified search experience across your entire multisite network. One centralized Algolia index pulls content from every site you choose, so visitors search once and get fast, relevant results no matter which subsite the content lives on.

This is especially valuable for universities, media companies, franchise networks, and any organization running a dozen microsites that currently need a dozen separate searches. Whether you manage a handful of subsites or a sprawling network, network-wide search removes the need for a separate search solution on every site.

Algolia Search features for WordPress Multisite:

Push content from all sites in a network into one searchable index
Exclude specific sites from network-wide indexing directly in the admin, no code required
Indexing status column in the network site list, so you can see which sites are current at a glance
Batch date tracking and completion messaging while indexing runs
Configurable AJAX timeout for large networks

WooCommerce Support

Use the power of Algolia search for easy indexing of your eCommerce products, both simple and variable.

SKU and product short descriptions added to the search index
Standard and variable pricing, including total variation counts
    Product weight and dimensions
Product image size data for cleaner hit templates
Total sales and ratings indexed for popularity, including cumulative average rating
De-index sold out products so search stops surfacing things customers can’t buy
Skip “shop only” and hidden products
Control typo tolerance on SKU attributes, because fuzzy matching on part numbers returns noise
Optionally limit Autocomplete and InstantSearch to products for store-only search

Speedy Instantsearch for WooCommerce

Below is a demonstration of the plugin’s instantsearch capabilities. You can see how quickly and intuitively search results are provided to your customers. Price and SKU are included in the search index for both simple and variable products.

Seamless Autocomplete for WooCommerce

Below you can see the power of the plugin’s autocomplete function while searching WooCommerce products. The experience is seamless and will help convert visitors to customers.

Display Variable Pricing for WooCommerce Products

Minimum and maximum variable prices are displayed within the search results. The final product in the autocomplete search results drop-down list in the left image below shows variable prices. In the right image below, the final product listed in the instantsearch results also shows variable prices.

Index Any Custom Field, No Code Required

Your content carries data your search index has never seen. ACF fields, product specs, locations, credentials, price tiers, availability. Visitors search for it, find nothing, and assume you don’t have it.

Pro’s Meta Field Mapper detects the custom fields already on your site and lets you drag them into your Algolia index.

Automatic detection of fields from Advanced Custom Fields, Meta Box, CMB2, and native WordPress post meta
Drag a field into Searchable Attributes to make it searchable
Drag it into Attributes for Faceting to turn it into a filter your visitors can use
Field order controls how heavily Algolia weights each attribute, so tuning relevance is drag and drop
Separate configuration for every post type
Existing customizations through the algolia_post_shared_attributes hook keep working and are never overwritten

Making one field searchable used to mean a PHP filter, a code review, a deploy, and a re-index. Now it takes a minute, and the person who understands the content can do it themselves.

This is what puts real filters in front of your visitors. Bedrooms and neighborhood on a real estate site. Salary range and remote status on a job board. Specialty and region in a member directory. Material and warranty in a store.
Advanced Search Settings

Additional advanced settings give you control and flexibility over what content is available in your Algolia search index.

Enable or disable Algolia indexing on selected pieces of content, such as blog posts, pages, and products
Set Algolia’s indexing to match your existing search engine “noindex” settings
A per-content exclusion option that works independently of any SEO plugin
Filters to remove default attributes added by the free plugin, for smaller indices and lower Algolia costs
Filters to customize indexing behavior, index settings pushes, and network indexing timeouts

Advanced SEO Support

Set Algolia’s indexing to match your existing search engine “noindex” settings. Supported SEO plugins:

    Yoast SEO
    All in One SEO
    Rank Math SEO
    SEOPress
    The SEO Framework

Index Health and Troubleshooting

Search problems are usually invisible until a customer reports one. Pro makes your index legible.

Index status in the post editor. Every post edit screen shows whether that post is in the index, with a re-index button beside it. “Why isn’t my article showing up in search?” gets answered by the editor who asked.
Index Health page and dashboard widget. Plugin versions, PHP and WordPress versions, detected environment including WordPress VIP, API credential status, and which of your synced indices actually exist on Algolia’s side.
Configuration source tracking. The Health page shows whether each Algolia constant comes from code or from the database, which is where most “search works on staging but not production” problems turn out to live.
